Free SMART Teens Summer Program

Free weekly program for high schoolers dealing with substance misuse. The program will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-2pm for 4 weeks starting July 9, with an optional eighth session on August 6. Parent/guardian must register the child on this page.

About the event
The Norwalk Partnership is pleased to offer a free skills & support program starting in July for teens who may be struggling with substance use. Our SMART Teens program is funded by Positive Directions through a state grant and implemented in collaboration with Human Services Council.
The SMART Teens will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, 10am - 2pm, 1 Park Street, Room 209, Norwalk from July 9 through July 30 (7 sessions) with the option to continue until August 6. Sign up at TheNorwalkPartnership.org/events.
Each week will cover:
A Brief educational activity on substance use or coping skills;
A SMART Recovery support group that teaches skills to help youth motivate themselves for change; cope with their urges; manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and life a balanced life;
A fun social activity with their peers... and lunch!
