"Hidden in Plain Sight": interactive program for parents open to all
Updated: Mar 17
According to our 2022 Norwalk Youth Survey, most of our kids aren't using substances. However:
Norwalk students who drink or vape start at age 13, on average
Norwalk students who use marijuana or cigarettes start at age 14, on average
At TNP's "Hidden in Plain Sight" training this coming Monday, middle school parents are invited to investigate a simulated teen bedroom to look for signs of substance use. More importantly, we'll be presenting ways to have constructive conversations about substances with your kids and tips for keeping them safe in risky situations.
This training has been POSTPONED. It is open to all Norwalk parents/guardians and will be held at West Rocks Middle School, 7pm-8pm, on Tuesday, March 28th. You can RSVP here but walk-ins are welcome.
