Teen Nights Out: Free Creative Hangout
Join us a free, fun Teen Nights Out on Friday, March 27th from 7:00–9:30 PM at The Norwalk Art Space, 455 West Avenue. This fun and welcoming Creative Hangout will feature board games, an open mic, art stations, and free pizza, creating a safe space for you to relax, express themselves, and connect with others in the community. You can hang out, play games, try your hand at art, perform or watch other kids perform, and maybe meet new friends! Please RSVP now and let your friends know! You'll need to show your PowerSchool ID to get in.

New! SMART Recovery Teen Support Group – Starting Next Tuesday

If you or a teen you know are looking for a space to work through challenges related to substance use or mental health, our FREE weekly SMART Recovery group for teens (ages 16–18; high school only) may be a good fit. Starting March 24, 2026, the group will meet every Tuesday from 6–7 PM on Zoom. You can sign up and access the link at positivedirections.org/groups.
Part 4 of the Mid-Fairfield Youth Cannabis Prevention Project

The Mid-Fairfield Youth Cannabis Prevention Project invites community members to join “2.5 Years Later: How Has Legal Weed Affected Our Community?”, a virtual panel featuring community perspectives on the impact of cannabis legalization. Free Narcan training
Join us for CT Save a Life Day in Norwalk on April 8, 2026, with two free Narcan training opportunities for community members. A Spanish-Speaking session will be held from 10:30–11:30 AM at the Smilow Life Center (55 Chestnut St), and an English-Speaking session will take place from 2:30–3:30 PM at CT State Community College Norwalk (188 Richards Ave). These trainings will cover how to prevent and recognize an overdose, along with how to properly administer Narcan. Attendees will receive free Narcan kits and additional resources. These Session are open to ages 18 and up. Please RSVP to secure your spot.

Free Suicide Prevention Training

Please post and share the 2026 schedule of Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) trainings offered by Positive Directions. Encourage colleagues and community members to gain the skills to recognize warning signs, offer support, and connect individuals to help when it matters most. This training provides practical, life-saving tools!
Session dates: Apr. 24, Jul. 31, and Oct. 30 from 12:30pm-2pm, at 90 Post Rd West, Westport. Bring your lunch! Coffee & snacks provided.

NorWALK for Mental Health: Walk + Wellness Fair!
Save the date! Bring your friends & connect with your community at our FIFTH annual NorWALK for Mental Health event! Join us on May 2 at the Norwalk Green from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM for a free, family-friendly event featuring a DJ, art, yoga, bouncy houses, a huge wellness fair featuring 50+ community organizations providing activities and resources, an awareness walk, and community speakers -- and food trucks. Rain date: May 9, same time and place.
