Monthly Question-Persuade-Refer (QPR) Training (Zoom)

Question-Persuade-Refer (QPR) is an evidence-based training aimed at the general public (ages 16+) that allows you to recognize warning signs and intervene with someone who may be suicidal. Through videos, a slideshow presentation, and a group role play, you will gain valuable information and practice life-saving skills. After the training you will be considered a QPR Gatekeeper and receive a certificate for 2 years.

We offer this training free of charge every month in the evening online and our partners at The Hub (thehubct.org/events) offer it twice a month in the morning, also online. We can also come to you and provide the training in person for a group; just reach out to Margaret at mwatt@positivedirections.org to schedule.

If you have been personally affected by a suicide in the past 6 months, please do not take this training at this time. We offer the class monthly, so please come back in the future!
