SMART Teens middle school summer program

Free weekly program for middle schoolers dealing with substance misuse. The program will meet Mondays from 10am-2pm for 5 weeks starting June 30. Parent/guardian must register the child on this page.

About the event
The Norwalk Partnership is pleased to offer a free skills & support program during the month of July for middle schoolers who may be struggling with substance use. Our SMART Teens program is funded by Positive Directions through a state grant and implemented in collaboration with Human Services Council.
The middle school group will meet MONDAYS from 10am - 2pm at 1 Park Street, Room 209, Norwalk from June 30 through July 28
(5 sessions). Each session will include:
A brief educational activity on substance use or coping skills
A SMART Recovery support group that teaches skills to help youth motivate themselves for change; cope with their urges; manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and live a balanced life
A fun social activity with their peers... and lunch!
